This is a sound quality upgrade over my previous (now deleted) torrent of this. The old torrent was from 22.05Khz 64kbps files. This is from the new USAC coded 44.1KHz versions. I have converted to VBR AAC codec for compatibility with older devices.
The target bitrate was 128kbps - actual bitrates roughly half that as they are now mono.

In case you were wondering how I have an extended version of the first book, I edited it down from the special edition plot omnibus versions.
The three plot-lines (Vignettes, Geeks & Perspectives) had omnibus editions which separated them out so you could just listen to the Geeks if you wanted to.
As a bonus to sell you the same thing again, it had previously cut material reinserted.
I re-edited and retitled the chapters to create this extended version of book one.
