Listened before when posted some time ago. (Ofc with less books)
I think it was said even before its AI read. Was suprised, as not native speaker, woukd probably never quess.
If there is no option from narator (which is ofc preferable) and is as good as this book, I am gratefull even for AI version.
If you dont like or hate AI version, its simple to just ignore it and let others enjoy book if they want

It’s the fact his commenting every pocket fm post saying it’s ai. Without downloading it to listen just all assumptions. Like the site have a rule against ai book ok no problem but is the book uploaded ai? Like you reporting people without checking the facts. Pocket fm just like audible allows author to us ai narrators but Pocket FM has plenty of stories produced by real teams, including narrators, production staff, music composers, and SFX teams. he would know if he did his research instead of assuming stuff

Hi. I wanted to explain why I uploaded the torrent. I saw that someone had uploaded the first 200 chapters and asked for a subscription to access the others. Since I think that’s wrong and I had the torrent that I downloaded from this site on October 1st, 2025, I decided to share it; it was the first torrent I shared. I can’t confirm if its ai or not; honestly, I have no idea, English isn’t my main language. What I can say is that it doesn’t seem to be ai, and it’s not text-to-speech. As I said in the description, the post will be online until the end of the day. Thank you.

It was me I never asked for any subscription access. So don’t give anyone no wrong idea. The version I have is basically a full cast version. I refrain from uploading more because the mods on this site keep assuming it’s ai without giving it a listening, it’s basically a full cast version. All simply stating I have the rest on my telegram channel along with other books. People are free to join or not no lost on my end. People assuming am scamming without even checking first. I never asked for any subscription access or any type of payment for those who came to my channel. I just provide them with the link.

I didn’t intend to give the impression that you were asking for money for access, and for that I apologize. As you must have understood, English is not my primary language. I’ve been listening to Lord of Mysteries and I’ve been enjoying it. I don’t know if its ai, but it doesn’t make a difference to me.

I have a “PocketFM” in my library, but I haven’t a clue as to what book/series it is.
I know that the voice AI has improved a lot in the last few years, but inflections and tone always kept me from completing the book.
I hope this post stays up long enough for me to give it a try as well.

Just a PSA for anyone who wants to listen to this just be aware that poket FM have taken quit a few creative liberties with the source material they renamed characters rearrange chapter order they even mixed and a matched few of those chapter without any input from the author and in fact guiltythree really hates what they did to the story.

Books are copyrighted work. Audiobooks are copyrighted work. At the end of an audiobook, the author is given the credit for text copyright, and the publisher (let’s say, Podium) is given credit for the audio production. The narrators are clearly named. This is for EVERY SINGLE BOOK. Webs probably do the format differently, but a copyrighted work has credit given. AI is not copyrightable (which is why it’s stupid to write a book with AI but could be good business sense to use Virtual Voice or some other for the audiobook). Since no one commenting is defending the company or this series specifically with “hey, according to the website, the narrators for this series are…” and instead are lamenting a moderator not downloading then listening to an 8-volume 14GB monstrosity so they can use their own subjective ears to gauge machine or not, I bet it’s AI.

PocketFM absolutely does not “exclusively” do AI audiobook narration. You can easily find the cast on their site and you can even look up who those people are. I wouldn’t say they all do a great job but they’re obviously human.
Shadow Slave on PocketFM’s website is narrated by Thomas Pickell. It’s clearly listed. You can even find his demo reels and book him yourself if you really want. These specific files are also listed on private trackers as being narrated by him.
Some days I think the worst thing AI has done is manage to make people even dumber than they were before which I wouldn’t have thought possible a few years ago. There has to be a floor on stupidity somewhere.

If this is the same audio as the first time this book was uploaded here, there is large pieces of the original story missing from the River of time arc onwards.
I also remember hearing that PocketFM basically extorted Guiltythree to let them continue producing this series
